Dear RGUS, I hope , I can make her and you, hopefully a little bit lucky by wishing a very beautiful X-mas-days and everybody you love, an explosive, creative 2012. Thanks RGUS for all the splendid artwork you have shared this year with me / us. I appreciate it highly.
It's not what you can see that will kill you... it's what you can't see.
Quite well made, the work on the woman is great, fabric is shown well, textures and patterns do look quite good, as the sword's handle. Skin has nice attention, face and eyes are nice, aside from the oddity with hair position (doesn't seem to flow right, particularly along the forehead). The snake is interesting, good scales and patterns, the jaw definitely suggests things are about to get interesting. The landscape is rather nice, masonry, foliage and mist are well done as well.
Why do painters paint other peoples houses, why do photographers photograph other people... oh... hang on... they take a medium and apply it to real world objects... geees... where's the art in that .... eh!
Don't be so assuming you know what is involved in creating scenes in software you may never have used... there is no such thing as art... nothing is art, it's all illusion... which is a much better word for images in any medium created. And... please don't waste my time explaining the New Zealand sense of sarcasm... and stuff... I really can't be bothered
